2008 파리 모터쇼에 출품된 자동차들을 둘러 보았습니다.

역시 경차의 도시 파리답게 경차들이 많이 출품되어 치열하게 경쟁을 하고 있었습니다.

Some of the cars on display are scheduled to be sold in the United States as soon as next spring; others may be three to five years or even further over the horizon. Nissan introduced its Nuvu concept under a huge glass mushroom – a sort of psychedelic theme for this vision for the future of electric cars. Although Nissan says it is committed to introducing an all-electric car in the U.S. and Japan by 2010, the company assures everyone in a press release "Nuvu is NOT that car." (Their emphasis.) Whew!

Some of Picasso’s paintings were studies in dissonant proportion. So is Citroën’s C3 Picasso concept. And like some of Picasso’s work, it looks better in certain light.

Smart wasn't shy about speaking publicly for the first time about ED. In Smart-speak, however, those initials refer to Electric Drive – a first for the quirky microcar.

China Automobile France displayed this rather homely little electric car prototype, which fetched a somewhat disproportionate amount of interest — most of it regarding whose picture was on the hood ornament. No, it was not who you were thinking; it is the car’s cheeky designer.

The Chevrolet Volt hybrid electric vehicle is having its international auto show debut here at the Paris Motor Show, but it takes an intrepid searcher to find it.

The Citroën 2CV probably wins a very tough competition for ugliest French car ever. But nowadays it has become anti-establishment cool. So Hermès decided to celebrate it on its 60th birthday by camping up one of the original models with special paint, plush leather accessories and a little love.

The California is the first Ferrari with a retractable hardtop. It's not available yet, but when it is... sorry, it's sold out until 2011.

With little fanfare — they didn’t even schedule a press conference to unveil it — the Russian automaker Lada showed off its surprising Revolution III concept. A French publication called it an “apparition” of beauty. Revolution concepts I and II were toads that were apparently not, prior to auto show debuts, kissed by a princess.

The unveiling of the beautiful Maserati Quattroporte S was attended by Harald Wester, the new C.E.O. of design house Pininfarina.
